Who We’re Looking For

CREtelligent is seeking an Environmental Project Director and Professional Geologist with emphasis to expand our commercial environmental investigation, and project management team. This position is a front-line client-focused role who will work closely with our EP team to conduct various environmental due diligence assessments focused on commercial real estate. 

At CREtelligent, our approach to environmental due diligence incorporates a blend of advanced data and analytics coupled with environmental review best practices. The impact of our efforts empowers customers to make better informed and proactive decisions.  As a CREtelligent team member, you will work in partnership with our proprietary platform RADIUS and engage with our clients in offering a comprehensive suite of environmental risk assessment products and services nationwide.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills; both internally and client facing
  • Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills to more junior level staff
  • Lead with CRE due diligence expertise
    • Assess disparate data components to create client end products
    • Render final assessment and provide opinion as an environmental professional
    • Operate as a self-starter who is resourceful, and displays the ability to work productively on multiple projects at a time under strict deadlines
    • Serve as a key member of the environmental practice tasked with managing both transaction based due diligence projects as well as several ongoing, long term RI projects
  • Provide insight from both internal and external clients for product enhancements and new product development

 

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in geology, biological/physical sciences or engineering discipline
  • 5-10 years’ experience in CRE Due Diligence (Phase I & II ESAs, TSAs, desktop reports including RSRAs/GRRs)
  • California Professional Geologist (PG) preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD compliant ESAs preferred but not required
  • Asbestos, lead paint, radon licenses and training a plus
  • Experience with interpreting and processing field/analytical data
  • Experienced in technical report writing
  • Proficient in MS Office product lines
  • Desire to work with a growing professional team

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation:  $80,000 to $120,000 annually.  We conduct annual performance and salary reviews to continue to increase your compensation level as you grow and perform in the role.
