Job Objective:

To provide creative and technical support for marketing purposes to the Goodwill CraftED and Goodwill Rocks departments, collaborating closely with the Goodwill Marketing Department. This position reports to the Industrial Services Director of Operations who evaluates performance annually.

Essential Job Functions:

• Knows and understands the Goodwill Mission: Empower people to achieve their most abundant life.
• Develop marketing materials for CraftED and Goodwill Rocks.
• Perform photography and videography of products.
• Maintain photo and video library.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Social Media strategy and content.
• Strategize ways to drive traffic to ecommerce platforms.
• Assemble and distribute press kits.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to handle interruptions, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally with all levels of personnel and clients both in person and on the telephone.
• Proficiency in computer use, internet navigation, and email systems, with solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite of products.
• Adaptability to change and growth.
• Strong spelling, punctuation, grammar, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail abilities.
• Capacity to remain composed under pressure.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and provide proof of insurance to travel to different job sites.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years formal training toward a bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent marketing experience.

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite or equivalent design/production software.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit upright in a chair.
• Mobility to travel around the building as needed.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear on the telephone with or without assistance.
