Outside Services Attendant

Part Time – Hourly $15.75

General Summary:

Outside Services Attendant is responsible for providing carts and range balls for guests while keeping all work areas clean, orderly, and safe. They greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner while projecting a professional image.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Provides excellent customer service.
  2. Maintains grounds of players’ entrance, staging area, driving range and cart barn entrance, parking lot etc.
  3. Delivers carts from the cart barn to the daily staging area.
  4. Ensure golf carts are clean, and properly prepared with a full sand bottle, pencil, scorecard, clean windshield, empty trash, empty/refill ball washer, tighten bag straps and check tire pressure.
  5. Ensure golf carts are properly stored and secured.
  6. Responsible for checking out and in push carts from customers.
  7. Performs periodic cart visual checks.
  8. Coordinates with Pro Shop to maintain a consistent level of cart & key availability.
  9. Basic understanding of golf course layout and rules of golf.
  10. Communicates district policies, promotions, and programs to our guests.
  11. Works with Pro Shop Managers in set up and execution of tournaments and outings.
  12. Reports guest complaints promptly to the manager on duty.
  13. May be required to manage pace of play and marshalling across the golf courses.
  14. May be required to help with Junior Golf and other golf related programs.
  15. May be required to pick the driving range.
  16. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor may include Cottonwood Lodge operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  1. Must be able to pay close attention to detail.
  2. Must be able to drive a golf cart/Kubota safely.
  3. Be prepared to be walking or on your feet most of the day.
  4. Be prepared to be in any type of weather. Sun, rain, wind, cold etc.
  5. Must be able to operate and understand the ball washer, picker, golf carts etc.

Working Environment/Physical Activities:

  1. Must be able to perform a varied work schedule: nights, weekends and holidays are required.
  2. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather may also be from extreme cold to extreme heat.
  3. May be bending, stooping, squatting, walking standing throughout shift.
  4. Noise levels in the work area are moderately quiet.
  5. May be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  6. Early mornings/Late nights.
  7. Must pick the range/clean pick when scheduled.

Education/Experience:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Knowledge of golf.
  3. Valid driver’s license.
  4. Able to work with little to no supervision.
