The Document Control Specialist (DSC) administers the Document Change process, manages release of all modified and newly released documents, including Procedures, Work Instructions, Job Aids, Forms/Templates/Reference Sheets, :Labels, Specifications, and Quality Alerts. The DCS tracks the release status of all technical file, design history, and validation documents also.
Processes Document Change Requests (DCRs), from review of request through to approval, release of drawings, documents, implementation of tasks, and completion of change-related training
Assists and trains users of DCR system to initiate requests as needed. Provides administrative assistance to number DCRs and documents as needed.
Provides controlled documents to the shop floor as needed and tracks drawings and other documents issued
Maintains the Master Document List for the Quality Management System
Assist the Quality Validation Engineer with organization of Process Validation documentation
