Description

We are looking for an experienced Event Specialist to join our growing company. The Event Specialist will work closely with the Events Manager to have an organized and streamlined process for events online and at various in-person events. This will include assisting with the facilitation of events from setup to breakdown and ensuring all attendees have an excellent experience.

 

Salary for this position is $40,000 - $45,000 dependent on experience. Full benefits are provided for employees at no cost.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Min 2 years of customer service experience
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office and Google Suite)
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and motivated
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
  • Experience with A/V setup and troubleshooting preferred
  • Experience with planning and events preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Zoom Webinars and meetings a plus
  • Working a minimum of 2-3 weekends required
  • Traveling up to 10 times a year for out-of-town events

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete all assigned event tasks
  • Assist clients with event inquiries and follow up within 48 hours
  • Attend and work on all assigned events

 

Online Event Duties:

  • Assist the team with calendars, scheduling, CRM, and project management tasks
  • Attend online events and interact with clients
  • Post-event auditing and other necessary tasks

 

Other Administrative Duties:

  • Assist events manager and team where needed
  • Assist with internal company events

 

In-person Event Duties (Internal & External):

  • Travel to different offices to attend meetings, pick up event supplies, and any event needs
  • Be able to set up, rearrange, and tear down event space (moving tables and chairs, etc)
  • Work on the fly at events to make sure speakers have what they need (marketing material, electronics, etc) and everything is working correctly
  • Check-in and welcome event attendees
  • Support event speakers as needed (may include ordering lunch/running errands)
  • Maintain event center supply/catering list and coordinate orders
  • Maintain event center cleanliness during the event
  • Unpack/pack event materials
  • Maintain beverage and snack center areas during the event
  • First one to arrive, last one to leave during events
