RIESTER is looking for a Digital Content Specialist to craft digital content that drives defined conversions across client platforms and channels.  Working within the Digital team, the Digital Content Specialist will collaborate  with other internal departments to ensure seamless content production across all digital channels.

The ideal candidate will apply a passion for writing, innate curiosity and a natural empathy for your reader to craft digital content that adheres to UI/UX best practices and brand and style guidelines for websites, email, social, and internal and external marketing communications.

Essential Job Results

  • Develops compelling website content, email marketing programs, social media content and SMS mobile messaging that adheres to each channel’s standards and best practices

  • Collaborates with the creative team to explore and expand creative concepts across digital channels

  • Writes or partners with agency teams for internal and external marketing copy for all channels

  • Partners with SEO Manager, Paid Media and Social Media channel leads to execute optimization insights and content deliverables

  • Works on the analysis of content performance by collaborating closely with the other digital leads

  • Analyzes performance and makes recommendations for content updates and creation.

  • Evaluates existing content and recommend ways to increase effectiveness

  • Develop strategic content plans and calendars based on user insights and marketing objectives

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Experience crafting content and video strategy within a branded environment

  • Experience crafting end-to-end content marketing deliverables

  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, email, mobile messaging, content amplification and full-funnel campaign management

  • Experience with personalized content and audience segmentation, personalization tools experience a plus

  • Working knowledge of HTML and other related Web development technologies

  • Demonstrated track record of leadership and influencing skills in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment, along with being a self-starter

  • Flexibility to deal with unanticipated projects that have tight turnaround times by adjusting schedules for other projects and clearly communicating those changes to stakeholders and teammates

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience with WordPress and Umbraco

  • Experience with MailChimp and Hubspot

  • Google Analytics Certified 


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.

  • 2+ years in a content and communications capacity, preferably in health, travel e-commerce background
