Required Knowledge and Essential Skills

This is an entry level position.  There will be on the job training. A successful candidate will need to be self-motivated and able to work effectively on their own and as part of a team. It is important that the candidate has a passion for technology. They should be enthusiastic and keen to learn and further their skills. It is also important that they possess the following skills

  • The ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly
  • Attention to detail in order to deliver high quality verbal and written communications
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suites
  • Basic Understanding of TCP\IP
  • Basic IT security (firewalls, remote access, intrusion detection, data loss prevention)
  • End-user support and service technologies (OS and Software installs, PC & Printer Maintenance)
  • Basic Networking (WAN, LAN, Wireless)

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountability

  • Complete assigned helpdesk tickets
  • Setup for major events at venues IT applicable
  • Plan Future improvements and document changes
  • Assist IT Director with IT inventory and recycling of tech equipment
  • Safe operation of company vehicles
  • Keep workspace clean and organized
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Flexible work schedule- must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Travel between venues is sometimes required

Environmental Job Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in all temperatures/weather Extremes

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Hearing - to converse with others in a verbal conversation.
  • Balancing, bending, climbing, kneeling, walking, reaching above shoulders, and sitting

Education / Experience

  • 6 months related computer\technical training or 6 months on the job training (a plus)
  • A+ Certification, Network+  (a plus)
  • Network Cabling (a plus)
  • Microsoft Certifications (a plus)
