What You'll Do:

The Graphic Designer Intern follows the leadership and direction of the Senior Marketing Manager to create, revise, and maintain marketing materials for internal and external use in support of all departments. The goal of the Graphic Designer Internship is to provide hands-on experience designing for a corporation as you complete projects in accordance to brand guidelines while applying design knowledge and best practices. Through the internship, you will gain practical experience as you design for social media, print and digital advertising, sales collateral and more.

  • Work alongside leadership to design, produce, and manage outstanding omni-channel design solutions (this may include collateral for brand and performance marketing campaigns, templates, event and exhibit design, internal communications, presentations, layouts, mockups, icon design, tradeshow displays, social media graphics, etc.) that meet company objectives and goals.
  • Create professional, efficient marketing materials that meet campaign objectives. (Examples: sales presentations, brochures, tradeshow displays, digital ads, social media graphics, training materials, signage, etc.)
  • Assist with requests from all internal Bardavon departments to help promote, communicate, and support the brand, mission, vision, and values.
  • Prepare design elements for digital, online, and mobile applications based on supplied specifications.
  • Manage multiple requests effectively, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain brand standards in all marketing materials.
  • Prepare print and digital files, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

 

Must Haves:

 

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant Graphic Design degree program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and concepts.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Creative thinking and a willingness to contribute innovative ideas.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation:

  • The range of base salary for this role is $15 an hour.

Work Schedule

Internship Period: Early June – Mid-August

Up to 15 hours per week

  • 2 days per week, up to 7.5 hours per day
  • 3 days per week, up to 5 hours per day
