The Office of Academic Affairs seeks a mission-oriented colleague to join our team in the role of Academic Affairs Coordinator.


Position Overview

As a member of the Academic Affairs team, the coordinator supports functions and collaborative relationships within Academic Affairs and across departments to maximize division functionality and efficiency in areas including faculty and instructional hiring and records; day-to-day administration; providing information support to faculty, staff and students; and supporting Academic Affairs events and initiatives. This critical role supports the completion of more complex organizational projects and goals for Academic Affairs, with emphasis on strategic initiatives including academic excellence and operational excellence.


This role is a regular, full-time opportunity with an expectation that the coordinator works on-campus Monday through Thursday until 7:30 pm.

  • Demonstrated skills
    • Ability to create, manipulate, and query spreadsheets
    • Ability to learn and effectively use data management systems
    • Strong written and oral communication skills (with added visual/graphic sensibility preferred)
    • Ability to work with confidential information and use judgment and discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Higher education experience preferred
