Position Summary

Assists in deployment of HR Strategic plan and HR service delivery including transactional and tactical functions supporting organizational needs in high volume need, fast paced work environment.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processes unpredictable, on-demand incoming requests via Teams chats, emails, phone calls, and walk-ups from employees, middle managers, chiefs, and external entities in a respectful and timely manner while meeting deadlines of planned commitments defined in HR Strategic plan.
  • Processes approved requests to create Job Postings from Hiring Managers on CrescentCare website and external websites, participates in community job fairs, and executes steps needed for  internal Career Open House events.
  • Conducts New Hire HR services including creating New Hires in Paycom, walking New Hires through requirements prior to Day One, Day One Onboarding/New Hire Orientation, and ensures all required for New Hires is 100% complete and uploaded into Paycom included but not limited to the Key Item Checklist, EVERIFY, Background Checks, etc.
  • Conducts periodic audits to ensure HR Compliance with FQHC grantors, governing bodies and accrediting bodies’ requirements as required.
  • Serves as additional point-of-contact for HRIS system, provides day-to-day maintenance/training/troubleshooting, changes employee access groups and reporting structure upon request, pulls requested reports and updates employee data in system. 
  • Assists with day-to-day timely Benefits service delivery including maintaining records for use in employee benefits administration, annual Open Enrollment assignments, enrollments/qualifying event changes/terminations, and assisting employees with benefits questions
  • Assists in the execution of quarterly Wellness Days supporting organizational wellness strategy, promotes events throughout year, helps employees understand how to earn silver status and answers employee wellness questions.
  • Member of cross functional teams as needed and provides administrative support as needed.
  • Assists with the logistics and collateral partnering with internal partners or external vendors for HR sponsored events.
  • Creates and sends out reports as required reporting out HR current or future results.
  • Sets up automated Paycom reports for Client Users.
  • Partners with HR Director on research projects and/or special projects.
  • Other assignments as required by the HR Director.
  • Assists one or more functional areas within Human Resources by diversified clerical and administrative activities.
  • Creates personnel and medical files on all new hires, maintains active employee files  and pulls terminated employee files sending to offsite storage when needed.
  • Processes changes on all employee status as necessary in Paycom, e.g., departmental transfers, rate increases, etc.
  • Processes and records employee life cycle information in Paycom as needed.
  • Updates employee files in Paycom to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses.
  • Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized people
  • Compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports as needed.
  • Maintains and distributes current employee information, policy and procedure manuals, and other communication as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements
    • Six months of experience with Human Resources processes and procedures is required.
    • Computer proficiency in a Human Resource Information System, (HRIS) such as Paycom, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, Criterion, APS, Eddy, Workday, UKG, Zenefits, etc. is required
    • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Preferred Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field
    • Society of Human Resource Management, (SHRM) certification
