Southeastern Printing is looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Software Programmer to join our growing team. This role's primary focus is to create automation tools that streamline processes, reduce costs and improve organizational performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overall software developing scope includes write, develop, test, and review code to optimize existing applications.
  • Develop front-end, back-end, and database-driven solutions to support EFI Monarch ERP system and relating Web-2-Print software platforms.
  • Coordinate with end users to fix defects, find solutions, test solutions, and add functionality to improve the user experience.
  • Process trouble tickets utilize logs and IDE debugging tools to troubleshoot software related issues.
  • Evaluate project timelines and prompt communication across department to ensure project completion.
  • Assist with miscellaneous IT duties in conjunction with company managed services partner as needed.
  • Manage EFI Monarch ERP system and supporting applications including but not limited to Printflow and Auto Count.
  • Help desk support for EFI Monarch, Printflow and Auto Count.
  • Monarch EFI report development and management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge / prior work with ERP systems a huge plus, print related even bigger plus
  • Programming language knowledge preferred to be around .NET languages to stay consistent with existing software applications.
  • Knowledge of SQL and general database principles. Primarily around reporting and usage to support automation efforts. Deep knowledge a plus but not required.
  • RDMS database knowledge (hand in hand with SQL)- Relational Database Management System. Ability to understand and build relational databases.
  • C# programming knowledge

This is not a remote position.  The individual will be required to be in plant often, but there will be flexibility to work from home.
