MIND Research Institute is dedicated to research on learning, the brain, and developing effective math education programs. MIND's uniquely visual math education process engages the learner's spatial-temporal reasoning abilities to explain, understand, and solve multi-step problems. We are currently seeking an experienced and creative professional artist who is able to design and deliver innovative instructional content that will transform the way teachers teach and students learn mathematics.

Create layout, graphics assets, and illustrations for student, teacher, and family learning materials based on reference content. Requires close communication with the design team and other artists. All work will be produced digitally with Photoshop.

Translate math concepts into visual representations that are impactful and imaginative. The most important principle is to communicate through art while maintaining mathematical integrity.

Multiple revisions may happen while delivering high-quality artwork. Feedback will be taken during user tests and expect multiple editing or rework of the content.

Be able to adapt and adjust your style to match the overall design and collaborate with other visual artists.

Able to work quickly and efficiently; motivated to anticipate and meet tight deadlines.
