Job Title: Operations Manager (Orlando)

Hours: Full time

Location: US-Based

Reports to: Director of Operations (Orlando)

Operation Manager

The Manager on Duty will oversee all operational areas for SAFE-CLEAN-FUN. Counsel employee matters and notate

employee merits/ demerits. Monitor Employee SOPs, ensuring that employees are following proper SOPs. Guest Service- enforce the 10/5 Rule. Guest Safety- enforce the 10/20 rule.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • In charge of the overall operations of the park, including duties ranging from hiring new employees to supervising the park's security staff.
  • Oversee all aspects of what makes the park run and consider what can be done to improve operations.
  • Keeping up-to-date with safety checks, setting up marketing programs, and creating guest service policies to enhance guests’ experiences at the park.
  • Working outdoors with team members, keeping them motivated and ensuring our safe, clean, and fun operations.
  • Ensuring satisfactory guest service from all team members.
  • Managers frequently shift focus throughout the course of a workday.
  • Cash Control: Managers are accountable for the financial performance and safety of employees.
  • Ability to create and manage a schedule.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make decisions in difficult situations.
  • Managers must be able to work under pressure in a busy, noisy, and fast-moving environment. 
  • Must be able to meet tight project management deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have an open availability Monday-Sunday from opening hours until closing hours.
  • Integrity- Honesty in dealing with FSA employees

Performance Appraisals, Salary, Benefits, and Chain of Command:

The Manager on Duty will receive performance appraisals (PA) 30, 60, and 90 days with an annual review thereafter in April.  This position is paid on a salary and is exempt from overtime pay.  The Operation Manager will be required to work an average of 50 hours per workweek.  The Operation Manager qualifies for Fun Spot’s Full-Time Team Member benefits.
