The Global Organized Play team is looking for an Organized Play Event Manager to take care of the full organizational needs of US-based events like Adepticon, Star Wars Celebration, or GenCon. Summary of Position

This position reports to the Global Communications & Events Director (based in Paris), responsible for the planning and execution of organized play events and will travel often as our events can happen everywhere in the USA.


Essential Functions

  • Main point of contact between Central Marketing and Distribution Units to ensure that all Organized Play Events programs are executed.
  • Work with the AMG Development Team to create and execute all store level OP kits.
  • Provide logistics and coordination for all AMG play events.
  • Provide the schedule for all play events including specific activities and tournaments.
  • Ensure logistics support, including securing games, packing & shipping materials, load-in/load-out and assembly, and other on-site coordination of play event activities.
  • Ensure staffing is adequate for the event and that all travel and accommodations are secured.
  • Responsible for the securing of venues, accommodations, hardware, supplies and other services for all play events.
  • Responsible for working in the warehouse going through products to ensure the correct materials are chosen for upcoming play events.
  • Expected to attend all play events scheduled throughout the US.
  • Future expectation will be to organize and attend play events abroad as well.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar position in the game industry.
  • Technical expertise and mastering of the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Proven record in project management of large events.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Vehicle and valid drivers license required;
  • Valid passport recommended;
  • Excellent level of communication skills;
  • Spanish speaking/reading is ideal.
  • Strong knowledge of board games, Asmodee brand games a plus;
  • Great team player;
  • Strong creative thinking skills;
  • Exceptional level of organization and attention to detail;
  • Rigorous approach when carrying out mandates;
  • Meeting deadlines and managing efficient schedules;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Impeccable work ethic; and
  • Good knowledge of the production of printed work and of the various printing processes is considered an asset.
