We currently have an opportunity for a Psychology Training Director (PTD) at our growing Family Medicine Residency program in Nampa!

The Role – As a valued member of our Faculty, the Psychology Training Director reports to the Family Medicine Program Director. This role provides a unique opportunity to:

  • Support the growth of behavioral health professionals via supervision to psychology interns as training faculty in the Idaho Psychology Internship Consortium (ID-PIC)
  • Provide direct behavioral health clinical services to a diverse patient population
  • Consults Family Medicine Faculty and Resident Physicians in areas of integrated primary care and professional behavior

Clinic Schedule – Four ten-hour days per week

Qualifications

Education

  • Doctorate in Psychology (PhD, PsyD).

Experience

  • Integrated primary care experience preferred.
  • Understanding primary care, physician practice and working among and within underserved populations.
  • Experience in primary care behavioral health interventions, health promotion and social determinants of health.
  • Experience and enthusiasm teaching adult learners who cover a wide span in both psychology training and life experiences based on demographics.
  • Previous outpatient, primary care clinical experience preferred, other relevant clinical patient care experience may be considered.

Licensure / Certification

  • Meets established Credentials Committee requirements for Psychologist scope of practice including fully credentialed and privileged as well as the ability to pass a background check.
  • Licensed or license eligible in State of Idaho as a Psychologist.
  • Maintain eligibility to participate in Medicare, Medicaid and all other third-party payment programs that contract with Full Circle Health.
