Position overview:

Nearpod is seeking a strategic, creative and results-driven B2B Marketing Manager to join our mission-driven company. Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, this role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing content, campaigns, and programs that generate quality leads, customers, and growth for our US K-12 business. The B2B Marketing Manager will work closely with the sales, marketing, customer success, content development, and operations teams to implement marketing strategies and tactics across the buyer’s journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and optimize marketing campaigns across the buyer’s journey and target audiences using organic & paid channels, content marketing, email marketing, social media, website, partnerships, events, and lead-nurture programs

  • Develop, adapt, and execute plays to drive lead gen and increase pipeline 

  • Work closely with growth team and digital marketing agency to increase school and district sales, renewals, and expansions

  • Identify the most effective marketing messages, value proposition, materials, channels, and calls to action for targeted audiences at each stage of the sales funnel

  • Manage content creation, from ideation and development through execution and deployment

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and cross-departmentally to ensure campaigns reflect current business priorities and goals

  • Provide key messaging and campaign follow-ups to sales and customer success teams to support new sales opportunities and renewals 

  • Generate reports, help with dashboards, and deliver ad-hoc analysis as needed

  • Translate data, customer insights, KPIs, and campaign metrics into recommendations that continuously improve performance through rigorous testing

  • Manage calendar, execution, and performance of B2B marketing priorities, campaigns, and programs

  • Coordinate with in-house and agency creative partners to develop content and sales resources

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA a plus

  • Experience with SaaS, education, B2C2B, freemium models a plus

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing

  • Comprehension of the dynamics of the K-12 space is preferred

  • Experience in creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive measurable results

  • Highly analytical and experienced in analyzing the effectiveness of demand generation programs

  • Understanding of best practices in sales pipeline building, lead scoring, lead nurturing programs

  • Highly organized (able to juggle many priorities, document, and communicate well)

  • Highly collaborative and able to manage a large number of stakeholders

  • Analytical (able to analyze campaign performance and apply learnings to future campaigns)

  • Strong copywriting abilities and attention to detail

  • Able to manage agency or designers to develop outstanding creative

  • Strong working knowledge of necessary systems is preferred: Pardot, Salesforce.com, Google Sheets /Excel, Google Slides
