  • Manage day-to-day paint operation and its personnel.
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating aircraft schedules and ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Communicate and coordinate with all other departments to achieve a timely completion of projects.
  • Work closely with sales and quoting on pricing for all paint projects.
  • Maintain an accurate schedule of all work incoming and coordinate appropriate details to sales and management as needed, ensuring successful completion of projects.
  • Manage all departmental staffing needs and disciplinary action of team members.
  • Monitor daily work activities to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Attend all required meetings and calls to ensure all customers requests or concerns are addressed.
  • Continue to expand the capabilities of the paint shop to meet the needs of the company.
  • Build relationships with key vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all current EPA and OSHA regulations.
  • Organize and implement employee activities and meetings to create a pleasant work environment.
  • Work closely with site leadership to ensure all standards of appearance are met
  • Stay up to-date on industry standards, employee compensation and industry process improvements.
  • Continually maintain the highest levels of safety and efficiencies.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
  • 10 plus years Management and/or Director level leadership experience. Must have successful experience leading, developing, and mentoring Managers on multiple customer projects.
  • Direct prior experience and involvement in the development of customer strategies and key elements of customer satisfaction and relationship.
  • 15 years aviation experience
  • Requires excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and effectively coordinate with multiple departments
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary
  • Computer experience in Microsoft Office software products
  • Must have clean driving record, valid drivers license, and ability to achieve SIDA badge
