DIRECTOR of RENEWABLES, SUPPLY and TRADING

This is a hybrid role, consisting of onsite and remote work.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate has strong business acumen and is a collaborative leader within the Renewables and Commercial group. The candidate must have a strong understanding of how to manage the procurement of physical ethanol and biodiesel, monetize RINs from rack activity, and have strong relationships with producers and end users alike.

This leadership role will also focus on 3^rd party ethanol and biodiesel sales. The candidate also will have experience optimizing logistics around renewable fuel via trucking, transloads and rail. The role will support the executive team in executing strategic initiatives and process improvement efforts.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate will have a proven history in renewable supply and trading, and will apply their analytical, strategic, and tactical thinking expertise to the business and operational processes of the Company. The candidate must have a willingness to lead, manage, and assume responsibility for the renewables, supply and trading group. He/she also must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with ethanol and biodiesel suppliers. Being able to track market changes and recommend strategies to the executive team is critical.

ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide high level renewable cost analysis for existing inventory and replacement barrels.
• Manage renewable intramonth and month end reporting.
• Lead discussions with sales team to discuss renewable programs, opportunities, market intelligence, etc.
• Work with executive team on high level analysis around acquisitions, new business, etc.
• Identify new opportunities within the renewable fuels industry in which Guttman should participate.

QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED SKILLS

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required with ten-plus years renewables or trading work experience. A high degree of personal initiative and self-motivation is required as are proven critical thinking skills and:

• An ability to effectively maintain relationships across all levels of the organization (Operations, Risk, Back Office)
• A positive and flexible attitude
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong computer skills with significant concentration MS Office Suite.
