Job Description

Basic Function: Produces and writes for radio program as well as promotional and training materials in order to meet marketing objectives.



  • Develops creative concepts, researches, writes, and edits promotional and company-wide communication materials including but not limited to brochures, flyers, press releases, newsletters, multi-media content, training materials, speeches, web content, etc.
  • Produces and writes :60 scripts for radio program based on agreed upon themes
  • Produces and writes for promotional and training events
  • Interfaces and collaborates effectively with the Communications and IT teams to ensure consistent creative design and copy to meet project requirements, to select graphics/art for presentations, and to create copy for specific parts of EEI’s website
  • Analyzes and interprets data to determine appropriate syntax, style, and grammatical usage required for documents
  • Modifies existing promotional and training materials
  • Proofreads all final copy to ensure accuracy
  • Attends quarterly themes meetings and other meetings as requested
  • Travels up to ten percent of the time
  • Performs office cleaning tasks according to cleaning schedule
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in a related field plus two to four years related experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including grammatical and spelling skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in writing

FLSA: This position is in the Arden, NC headquarters and is full-time, exempt, salary, Monday – Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm
