Are you ready to make a difference?  MIND Research Institute, the creators of ST Math, is looking for a passionate, driven, goal-oriented Education Partnerships Manager, who will be responsible for partnering with Local Education Agencies (LEA’s) in their assigned territory to provide math solutions utilizing MIND Research Institute’s research-based products & programs.
 
The Education Partnerships team works together to broaden and deepen our partnership base across the U.S. to ensure ALL children can access our research-based approach to Math Teaching & Learning. Our partnership team strives to increase our impact by providing programs and products developed by the MIND Research Institute.   • Do you have 3+ years successful experience selling in the K-12 education space with proven results.
  • Have you successfully sold education software in the Eastern territory?

  • Do you know how to bring solutions to the table for a variety of stakeholder levels, how to defend your ideas, and how to give and receive productive feedback?

 Did you answer, “Yes!” or even, “Absolutely!” to all of the above?  Great! Let’s get down to specifics. 
 
  • Proactively develop and strengthen partnerships with Local Education Agencies (LEA’s) --(primarily through PreK-8 program sales) and Local Education Organizations (LEO’s)
  • Deliver effective presentations demonstrating products & programs to potential customers--ensuring the communication of MIND’s educational research, approach, program benefits, results at-scale (outcomes) and implementation requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental colleagues to write and submit Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), Request for Cost Proposal (RCP) and other requested communication to LEA central office personnel for the purpose of formalizing partnerships through program implementation. 
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental colleagues to ensure: high program Usage Fidelity Measures (UFM), implementation of new or existing programs (Fluency, Pre-K, Professional Development, etc.), and support for renewal of program for next academic year.
  • Knowledge of state and federal funding sources, specifically in the areas of: Title-I,Title-II, Title-IV, Title-VI, Title-VII, SIG, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, etc. 
  • Exhibiting, promoting, and teaching event attendees of MIND Research products & programs at national & regional education events & conferences.
  • Accurately and effectively manage and report on pipeline, status of business, and forecast revenue to Regional Vice President of Partnerships. 
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue partnership goals.
  • Advocate about educational equity for ALL students, life-long learner and persistent problem solver focused on achieving MIND’s Mission.
Qualifications
  • Existing relationships with key LEA decision makers throughout the assigned territory.

  • Strong communication, presentation and partnership skills.

  • K-12 teaching experience preferred but not required.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain meaningful business relationships with LEA’s

  • Knowledge of competitive K-12 education software products

  • Detailed knowledge of K-8 math state standards, testing and accountability requirements in the assigned territory.

  • Familiarity with sales tools and systems, to update relevant information held in the CRM database systems.

If you can check off all of the above – we want to talk to you!  This probably also means that you have 3+ years of experience selling in the k-12 education space, a Bachelors in Education and are very comfortable communicating with educational leaders.  More importantly, you are extremely comfortable with the tools of the trade.

This position reports to the Regional Vice President and should live on the East Coast (exact location is flexible). It is also important to be comfortable turning on your webcam to build a rapport, even from a distance. This role will likely require a bit of travel when the world opens back up (up to 60% , when the world is safe again).
