We are looking for a talented front desk administrator who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and can provide effective operation of the front desk and is interested in being a part of our dynamic team!

Responsibilities and Duties

Essential Duties include the following:

  • Greets visitors and directs them to appropriate Kenny Electric staff member; screens visitors who do not have an appointment
  • Serves as first point of contact when answering phones; Ensures calls are answered by 3rd ring; Directs calls to the appropriate staff member
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail; sort and distribute faxes
  • Prepare outgoing mail and arrange FEDEX shipments
  • Work with Operations Administrator to quickly resolve problems with phones, copiers, printers, postage machines and all other office equipment
  • Monitor and maintain office and printer supplies; organize and maintain office supply closets and kitchen, ensure all common areas are clean and organized
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed by preparing and assembling presentations for customers and other documents as assigned
  • Assist recruiting with applications
  • Coordinate travel arrangements as a backup
  • Set up rental vehicles as a backup
  • Provide weekly admin support to payroll
  • Provide admin support to accounting group as needed
  • Process checks for daily deposits
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience in the Construction industry preferred
  • Friendly and outgoing personality; professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
