As a full-time employee of Contour Airlines:

  • You are eligible for health, vision, and dental coverage as well as short-term/long-term disability and voluntary life insurance policies. If selected, these are effective on the first day of the month following your date of hire. Our current benefit enrollment guide will be provided during the onboarding process if you are selected for employment.
  • You are eligible to participate in our 401(k) savings plan, which would also be effective the first day of the month following your date of hire. The Company match is up to 6%. Your eligibility to participate in this benefit will be in accordance with the normal practices and guidelines of the Company. Our current 401K enrollment guide will be provided during the onboarding process if you are selected for employment.
  • You are eligible to receive paid sick leave. You can accrue up to 56 hours per year which will roll over each year until your sick bank reaches 480 hours.
  • You are eligible to receive vested vacation hours. These hours are available to you on January 1st following your date of hire.
  • You are eligible for non-revenue/space available (NRSA) travel privileges after completing six active months of service.
  • You are eligible for a variety of leaves of absence including medical leave, non-medical leave for the care of a family member, maternity leave, paternity leave, personal leave, etc. Specific information regarding Contour Airlines’ leave of absence policy is outlined in our Employee Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment.

 

Additional information:

  • The starting annual salary for this position is between $115,000.00 and $130,000.00 depending on your prior work experience. Based on your performance, you are eligible to receive an annual increase of up to 2.50% or more.

Summary of Essential Duties

  • Oversee the Maintenance Department RFP and RFQ process.
  • Coordinates and negotiates purchasing contracts.
  • Ensures inventory allocation and purchases at the best possible cost.
  • Responsible for meeting internal controls.
  • Responsible for quarterly spend forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Ensures safety of aircraft and personnel.
  • Ensures data integrity and accuracy for all expendable and rotable material, including consignment inventory.
  • Strategic management and optimization of all line allocations to ensure maximum material coverage to support operational reliability goals.
  • Review and manage scrap activity and sale of excess inventory.
  • Management of all inventory expenditures and ensures that all forecast goals are met.
  • Ensures accurate cycle counts of all expendable material (annually) and rotable/repairable inventory (bi-annually).
  • Responsible for analyzing and monitoring rotable and expendable inventory levels, including consignment inventory.
  • Supports daily operations through inventory and allocations analyses as needed.
  • Works closely with auditors to ensure internal controls are designed and operating effectively.
  • Works with other outside consultants and experts as needed to ensure Company objectives are met.
  • Provides management with accurate and timely financial information including analytics and metrics necessary to enable informed, astute, and strategic business decisions.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Leadership Team.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 23 years of age or older.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline, preferred. 
  • Ten (10) years or more of prior experience in a similar role is preferred. 
  • Prior experience in an aviation discipline required. 
  • Prior leadership experience and/or role in business management required.
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.
  • Able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekend, and holidays. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism. 
  • Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft office suite. 
  • Detailed working knowledge of Component Controls Quantum software. 
  • Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
  • Authorized by law to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States. 
  • Must possess a valued state’s driver's license and must have a good driving record. 
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset. 
  • Possess strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills. 
  • Must have well-developed people skills and the ability to work with a variety of personalities.
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
  • Able to handle interruptions and a fast-paced environment. 
  • Able to work with confidential materials and information. 
  • Maintain strong attention to detail. 
  • Must be a visionary with ability to clearly see the need for change, and then revise processes or procedures and ultimately implement revisions as needed. 
  • Be self-motivated and able to motivate others. 
  • Be able to communicate information and recommendations to non-technical. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
