Position Overview:

Nearpod is seeking an Associate Analyst, Content to join Nearpod’s Content Team and support the strategy launch, and ongoing growth of our content product suite. This position will require you to leverage knowledge of the K-12 education market with analytical and organizational skills required to inform the overall strategy of new and existing content products. 


Our Ideal Candidate will:

  • Contribute to and track OKRs for relevant products, collaborate with curriculum team to groom backlog for relevant products 

  • Initiate and execute market research efforts for relevant products (B2B adoption, competitors)

  • Evaluate potential partners and contribute to business development conversations

  • Collaborate with curriculum team to design prototypes for new projects, define scope and sequence approach

  • Support packaging and implementation of new content releases, support marketing + GTM efforts

  • Lead definition and analysis of Nearpod content usage metrics, present findings 

  • Organize user testing efforts for relevant products to gather qualitative feedback 

  • Implement Nearpod Library and collection lifecycle maintenance, usage experiments

  • Support maintenance of Nearpod’s efficacy portfolio and mobilization of learning sciences knowledge




Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of teaching or curriculum design experience (preferably K-12 experience working with instructional technology, or related education experience

  • Experience with tracking and analyzing metrics using spreadsheets, bonus if also with online platforms like Mixpanel and Tableau

  • Ability to work across multiple products and priorities in a high-growth, fast-paced environment

  • Broad knowledge of the edtech competitive landscape and an eagerness to stay informed of the edtech industry’s latest trends 

  • Experience with the OKR framework preferred

  • Familiarity with research on instructional technology, pedagogy

  • Proactive drive to document and advance progress towards goals, attention to detail in maintaining reporting systems for doing so (i.e. Airtable) 

  • Innovative mindset, willingness to proactively pursue experiments
