SUMMARY

The Store Associate works out of our Pink Adventure Tours retail store in Uptown Sedona. The Store Associate learns and assists with all merchandise store operations, including sales, opening or closing paperwork and accountability, creative merchandising and display, stock rotation, receiving, inventory control, and promoting a positive fun team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Employ positive and motivating sales techniques to promote and achieve sales goals
• Work alongside peers to assist customers and perform all sales functions
• Employ positive and motivating sales techniques to promote and achieve sales goals
• Responsible for some purchasing, receiving, product transfers and inventory control
• Create attractive and colorful displays to showcase merchandise
• Maintain store cleanliness, practice safe lifting and stocking practices
• Understand and maintain the POS system
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum two years retail sales experience
• Sales experience, cash handling and balancing, excellent customer service and communication skills
• Independent and self-motivated
• Computer experience required (MS Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, POS)

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Able to transport inventory from storage units to store location
• Able to lift overhead, lift beverage cases and other store merchandise up to 25 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, bend, stoop or kneel consistently, and walk around store for up to 8 hours/day
