Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial accounting. Knowledge and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with multi-division manufacturer preferred. Candidate must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and with a mid-tier financial ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics preferred). Candidate must be analytically minded and detail oriented.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Promote the Company’s mission and values-based culture through exhibiting Leadership, Teamwork, and Responsibility to accomplish Company objectives.
- Consolidate, analyze, and report capital spend versus plan.
- Maintain fixed asset system including additions/disposals, monthly deprecation, and reporting as needed.
- Provide support for all other month-end closing and reporting requirements.
- Maintain, oversee or serve as Admin or backup Admin for Corporate accounting add-on software (Planning Analytics, Concur, SAGE Fixed Assets, KISSFlow, Smartsheet).
- Implement Process Improvement initiatives relating to Corporate and Divisional Accounting.
- Assess internal controls for Corporate accounting functions, make recommendations for improvement, and develop process and procedure documents as needed.
- Support the integration of new business units into financial reporting processes, systems, and treasury.
- Able to work well with minimal supervision, as well as in a team setting.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing professional networks; participating in professional societies.
- Other activities, as needed, in support of the Corporate Accounting and Finance department’s functions.

Computer Skills
- Demonstrate proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with an emphasis on Excel.
- Demonstrate proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
