Organization Overview: The Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) and the Stanley M. Isaacs Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies with a combined annual operating budget of approximately $63 million that support services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. Goddard Riverside and The Isaacs Center are two of New York City’s leading human services organizations meeting the needs of children, youth and families, homeless individuals, and older adults throughout Manhattan and New York City. Pathways for Youth is an effort to help young adults reach age 24 prepared to be self-sustaining by providing a primary adult support to coach and assist in life planning and navigation over multiple years. We work within a social justice framework to create a fair and just society where all people have the opportunity to make choices that lead to better lives for themselves and their families. Goddard is a partner within the Manhattan Outreach Consortium (MOC) a borough-wide initiative to serve the unsheltered community.

Goddard is a partner within the Manhattan Outreach Consortium (MOC) a borough-wide initiative to serve the unsheltered community. 

 

Purpose of Position: This position helps oversee the data entry needs of the three MOC teams in various databases such as AWARDS, StreetSmart, MOCapp, CARES and CAPS.  The Data Manger will also assist program staff enter housing packets into the CAPS system when able. This position will be 90% remote.

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

 

Salary: $38,955

 

 

 

Roles, Responsibilities, and Essential Duties

Consortium duties:

  • Ensure that all pertinent information is entered into AWARDS in a timely manner
  • Assist Senior Director of MOC with submitting reports to all funders, including but not limited to the HUD quarterly reports and APR
  • Audit StreetSmart and MOCapp systems to ensure accurate data quality
  • Review DHS Streetsmart to ensure all caseload clients are open and placements are entered.
  • Assist teams in completing 2010E’s, applications for housing lotteries
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At minimum, 2 years’ experience working in a number of electronic record systems and demonstrated proficiency navigating these

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Excellent computer proficiency
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong problem-solving skills and judgement
  • Team player
  • Experience working with individuals with histories of mental illness, trauma, substance use, and homelessness preferred.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel (pulling reports and making calculations) and Outlook
  • Ability to learn data base systems, such as StreetSmart, MOCAP, Intacct, AWARDS

Physical Requirements
