JOB SUMMARY:

Coordinates content, design, and production of Woods Basement Systems’ marketing materials and campaigns including, but not limited to, photography, videography, newsletter publishing, case studies, home/trade shows, television, social media engagement, email and mobile marketing, company websites, and web content.  Administrative paperwork for events, home shows and company meetings.  Operates in conjunction with and supplements national Team Basement Systems™ and SupportWORKS™ digital content, campaigns, and tools with local content, expertise, and systems for marketing our company. Through such marketing efforts, generates sales leads for the company. Serves as liaison to community, civic groups and organizations to promote the company. Supports the management and mission of Woods Basement Systems, Inc.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.   Coordinates content, design, and production of marketing interns, including, but not limited to, photography, videography, home/trade shows, social media engagement, company websites, and web content utilizing our widget platforms within Basement Systems™ and SupportWORKS™ dealership networks. These items are in support of ongoing marketing campaigns. (55%)

 

2.   Coordinates content, design, graphic design work, and production of marketing materials to reach current or potential customers including, but not limited to, videos, newsletters, case studies, home/trade show events, email campaigns, direct mail, and mobile marketing initiatives.  Responsible for assisting departments in all other marketing and promotional efforts. (25%)

 

3.   Assists Marketing Director with administrative paperwork and tracking score boards (KPI’s – Key Performance Indicators) for all departments. (5%)

 

4.   Assists Marketing Director in interfacing with community and civic organizations to seek opportunities for promotion of Woods Basement Systems, Inc. This includes sponsoring events, applying for awards, and participating in activities to yield promotional outcomes.  

 

5.   Assists Director of Marketing with training and coaching marketing interns.

 

6.   Responsible for administrative work coordinating upcoming company events and meetings, scheduling venues, working with accounting for payments and vendors for special items as needed.  (5%)

 

7.   Regular and punctual attendance.  Includes marketing and industry-specific functions and meetings as approved by the Director of Marketing.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (KSAs) and TALENTS:

3.   Skill in operating personal computer and basic programs, including Microsoft for creating content such as video, publications, word documents etc.

4.  Basic skill in graphic design.

7.  Ability to manage projects.

8.  Ability to learn and understand the technicality of home performance systems, basements, crawl spaces, foundations, safety, and energy usage in a building.

9.  Ability to understand, relate with, and communicate to customers’ needs and desires.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1.     Two years of marketing experience required;

2.     Interest and/or experience in marketing, graphic design, communications or public relations preferred;

3.     An equivalent combination of education and experience to illustrate a proven track

              record in working in a team environment.
