Concept Overview: Concept is a multi-channel business-to-business (B2B) lead generation agency headquartered in Akron, OH. We specialize in the design, implementation, and execution of lead generation and business development strategies, processes, and technologies for our clients.

Position Summary: The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for launching, managing, and optimizing digital media programs including but not limited to; paid search, search engine optimization, email marketing, and social for our clients.

  • Conduct research and analysis on clients digital marketing results. Present recommendations to the Marketing Agency team and clients to determine the effectiveness of the current strategy and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Provide talking points and pre-sale insights to Marketing Agency & Sales team for prospective clients
  • Execute the marketing strategy developed by Concepts Marketing Agency team by using a variety of on-site and off-site tactics to increase website traffic, lead generation, and clients sales.
  • Work collaboratively within the Marketing Agency team as well as other Concept teams to achieve the clients goals
  • Keyword research for both SEO and PPC campaigns
  • Analyze competitors
  • Create and manage paid search campaigns
  • Optimize client websites for search engines and their ever-changing search algorithms
  • Manage email lists, web forms, segmentation strategy, and marketing database maintenance
  • Create marketing automation workflows and email nurture campaigns
  • Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums including ad copy, emails, newsletters, blogs, landing pages, etc.
  • Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns
  • Client interaction phone calls, emails, in-person meetings, etc.

The Digital Marketing Specialist at times will be expected to make judgment decisions without the input of their Director and at other times use discretion to determine when the input of their Director is appropriate.

  • Minimum 3 years of Digital Marketing experience
  • Experience managing Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook, and LinkedIn clients/accounts and interfaces
  • Excellent writing and creative content skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items, while effectively managing changing priorities


  • Past agency experience
  • Preferred located in the greater Akron/Cleveland, Ohio area
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google My Business, Google Optimize, and related Google platforms
  • Experience with HubSpot & Salesforce
  • Google Certification
  • HubSpot Certification
  • BS/BA Degree
