Position is responsible for all aspects of the Food & Beverage operations at Fun Spot of America. These would include but are not limited to:

  • Manages the day-to-day operation in an economical and profitable manner while maintaining established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure all outlets are opened and closed according to policy
  • Ensure all customers are provided with outstanding service and act immediately on all customer complaints to ensure that corrections are made when possible
  • Responsible for food quality, and presentation
  • Compiles variance reports, weekly management reports, comp reports, and any other reports deemed necessary
  • Responsible for ordering supplies, and inventory control and establishing relationships with suppliers ensuring the business receives competitive terms
  • Ensure all Food and Beverage areas are organized and maintain a high level of cleanliness
  • Maximizing Sale Potentials
  • Responsible for Groups and Corporate Marketing / Catering
  • Recommends Equipment Purchasing
  • Responsible for Equipment Maintenance
  • Ensure waste is minimized and properly recorded
  • Responsible for food hygiene, and health and safety issues
  • Adhere to all government guidelines for proper and safe food and beverage service (Serve Safe; Smart Serve; Food Handling Training Protocol - Ministry of Health)
  • Maintains an efficient program of scheduling to ensure a high standard of service with the use of minimum man-hours.
  • Establishes and administers training programs within the outlet, including new employee orientation.
  • Maintains and instructs assigned personnel as to safety policies and procedures and follows up to ensure hazards are eliminated.
  • Provides leadership, Counsels, guides, and instructs assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties.
  • Monitors the work of employees to ensure that established policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Ensure proper cash management controls are followed by all food & beverage staff members, as per policy
  • Recommends changes including hiring, promotion, demotion, and release of personnel; recommends wage and salary adjustments for personnel within established guidelines. Prepares and coordinates the periodical performance reviews of assigned personnel.
  • Responsible to assist in menu planning, development, and meal specials as well as in Park marketing
  • Ensure Drug-Free Workplace
  • Maintaining Excellent Food and Customer Service in a SAFE-CLEAN-FUN work environment
  • Other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Director

    The position would report directly to the Director of Food & Beverage. The position would ensure the successful daily Food and Beverage Operations at Fun Spot America.

    Performance Expectations:

  • Food and Beverage sales to be a minimum of 20% of total park sales
  • Meet Financial Goals as set by F&B Director
  • Achieve excellence in all responsibilities listed in General Responsibilities
