JOB SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for ensuring that our Enterprise risk assessment is in full compliance with banking laws, rules, regulations, and internal policies, procedures, and processes.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Update and prepare the Annual Enterprise Risk Assessment for review.
  • Mitigate operational risk exposure.
  • Perform monthly employee statement reviews.
  • Prepare audit committee reports on any internal red flags.
  • Investigate and report any instances of misappropriation of assets.
  • Cross-train and back up the Compliance Officer and Assistant as needed.
  • Assist with scanning compliance reports into synergy as needed.
  • Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers, and customers.
  • Follow the direction of the supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with Windows, MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Access, 10 key, and typing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

  • Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
  • Driving to client locations and other sites as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment.
