Job Summary


The Associate Manager will work to exceed the revenue and profit targets of the department and support the rest of the Digital team as new business objectives are set. They will work with key external partners to plan and execute new releases and promotions across the full HD catalogue. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and Steam, and an appreciation for the buying habits and trends of hardcore and casual gamers.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Plan regular promotional activity with channel partners to ensure that Square Enix is well represented/merchandised across all key platforms.
  • Manage promotional calendars for internal tracking of activity and flighting.
  • Work alongside the Digital Platforms Manager to ensure that marketing placements for pre-orders, new releases and promotions are secured with our partners.
  • Negotiate partnerships with third parties to cross promote SE content.
  • Assess the present revenue shares with partners and work to renegotiate improved terms.
  • Work with the team to manage new release pricing across all digital channels and territories.
  • Create and maintain all pricing documents to ensure proper tracking of pricing across all digital channels. Including managing re-pricing strategy to be aligned with global markets.
  • Work with the Digital, Territory and Brand teams to ensure that all launches have fully robust, impactful campaigns and that pre-orders are maximized.
  • Work with the team to identify new growth areas in the digital category.
  • Create decks and resources for the Digital team and Senior Leadership.
  • Strategize initiatives to creatively generate revenue across the Square Enix catalogue.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (especially proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Previous experience in a commercial role.
  • External stakeholder relationship management.
  • Comfortable negotiating with external stakeholders.
  • One year minimum experience in a sales role.
