The Senior Analyst will work closely with and report directly to the Director of Acquisitions to acquire and develop Hospitality and Multifamily assets throughout the United States. This position will play an integral role in evaluating new investment opportunities through market research, analysis, financial modeling, and asset valuation. In addition, the Senior Analyst will help source deals and support the Director with negotiating and structuring the entire capital stack including debt and equity. The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of commercial real estate investment strategies in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the underwriting and due diligence of new multifamily and hospitality investment opportunities
  • Structure/Build detailed excel financial models and asset valuation tools to support investment decisions
  • Source new investment opportunities and formulate business plans to present to the Director of Acquisitions
  • Forecast operating performance, financial projections, and business plan scenarios for deal-specific underwriting
  • Assist in the preparation of asset-level recommendations for senior management
  • Assist in the engagement and direction of property managers in the development and implementation of operating budgets including capital and leasing plans
  • Assist with ad hoc strategic projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong modeling skills (Excel)

  • Must be licensed to live and work in the United States
  • This is a full-time position and will be based at RREAFs headquarters in Dallas, TX. We are not offering remote work for this role.
  • This position will require ~25% travel to visit assets in the USA

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution required
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or STEM area strongly preferred
  • RREAF will provide training for the right candidate

Experience:

  • 0-3 years of direct commercial real estate industry, investment banking, or finance experience is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, discounted cash flow analysis and complex capital structures

Other Skills:

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge, including ability to summarize data via formulas, lookups, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, etc. A case study will be provided to qualified candidates.
