POSITION SCOPE

Working on our top-tier comics and game websites, the UX Designer, Information Architect will be responsible for collecting all UX requirements on any given project, documenting the user flow of the applications, building out wire-frames for all states of the applications, establishing navigational models, and translating all of the above to both the UI designers as well as the engineers. They will also work closely with the product managers and data analyst to understand the target audience, their preferences, and their limitations and take those into account into product designs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversight of UX for AMUs top tier digital products across mobile, web, and connected devices
  • Direct vendors and partners on UX, interaction design, and information architecture
  • Collaborate with product managers, development team, data analysts, and QA on usability testing, data analytics, and product road-maps
  • Create wire-frames for internal/external applications
  • Gather requirements impacting UX and UI and technical limitations from product owners and stakeholders to help inform design paths forward
  • Coordinate and collaborate with design team on visual designs
  • Collaborate with developers during design to determine feasibility, and during development to assure final product matches design comps and wire-frames

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred Education: Degree in information science, information design, human-computer interaction, anthropology, cognitive psychology, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience designing professional web sites and/or mobile applications
  • Must provide broad portfolio of work
  • Experience designing responsive web sites and native mobile apps
