Education and Experience – Associate's degree; Current LVN license from the State of California, with no pending or previous disciplinary action from any state licensing entity, restrictions or pending disciplinary actions; Current CPR certification; Minimum of 1 year full-time nursing experience within the last 3 years; Experience managing diverse staff.
Knowledge – Of state-of-the-art medical scientific and treatment methods in area of specialty, awareness of current medical, educational and psychosocial intervention procedures.
Ability - Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent people skills including the ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary clinical team, management and volunteers. Perform clinical responsibilities within the organization’s established guidelines in a organized, efficient manner; ability to relate and communicate well to all cultural and ethnic groups in the community; ability to support the goals of the organization; ability to be flexible with work schedules and sites.
