Essential Tasks or Responsibilities of the Job: 

  • Customer Service 
  • Open and close the store
  • Open and close registers 
  • Operate POS system 
  • Prepare store for the day
  • Ensure store is clean and organized
  • Operate the alarm system, including setting and disarming 
  • Identify problems with working conditions and share with management


Essential Skills to Perform Job: 

  • 3+ years of retail experience
  • Excellent customer relations skills by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Computer skills 
  • Must be available for early and late shifts as well weekends (Operating hours 8:30AM – 5:30PM Sunday through Saturday)
  • Aptitude for supervisor position in the retail space
  • Professional demeanor and friendly nature
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Active listening learning, critical thinking, and learning strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Coordinating, service orientation, conflict resolution. 

Physical requirements of the job:  

  • Bending or twisting the body.
  • Making repetitive motions.
  • Standing. 
  • Walking and/or running.
  • Kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
  • Climbing ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.

Environmental Elements of the job:  

  • Work indoors, environmentally controlled.
  • Tools, equipment, and technology utilized for job:  
  • Desktop computers.
  • Electronic email software.
  • Other Microsoft office products (OneNote).
  • Retail software.
  • Credit card readers.
