Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead data services resources engaged in client migration and integration projects.
  • Strong technical and management skills
  • Experience in hands-on technical requirements definition, solution design, and delivery.
  • Supervise solution design to meet business requirements and fulfill user stories, lead technical and non-technical resources with higher education and nonprofit clients through project builds, testing, and deployment phases for data migrations and integrations.
  • Demonstrate progressive leadership in the full lifecycle of the software development environment and understand the higher education and nonprofit culture.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in people management, user story definition, logical data model design, functional system design, and best-practice methodologies.
  • Responsible for the detailed design of enterprise-level Salesforce and related technology projects from inception through production support, providing industry best practices as a trusted advisor to key business and technology stakeholders, and identifying areas of product growth.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in leading enterprise-level Salesforce projects using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies throughout the lifecycle with repeated and demonstrable success, both hands-on and supervisory.
  • Proven experience in a Professional Services/Consulting environment, skilled with consulting aspects such as billability, gross margin, ROI, etc.
  • Experience managing staff, including making staffing decisions and facilitating employee career development.
  • Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed Salesforce system and functional designs.
  • Experience documenting current state business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, sequence diagrams, etc., and making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs.
  • Expert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of desired business outcomes.
  • A strong background in database design and system architecture.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of best-practice migration and integration projects.
  • Experience and working knowledge of higher education advancement business operations, such as prospect management, annual giving, major gift giving, planned gifts, donor stewardship, gift receipting, and pledge reminders.
  • Experience leading projects focused on migrating legacy Advancement systems to Kindsight's ascend.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems, as well as working with ETL integration tools such as Oracle SQL Developer and Mulesoft.
  • Knowledge of document management solutions and their interaction with CRM systems.
  • Experience with other higher education fundraising CRM platforms (e.g., Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge) is a plus.
  • Experience managing the development and delivery of third-party software to clients.
  • Strong knowledge of data management, including data capture, warehousing, segmentation, storing, cleansing, and security.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a team player as demonstrated through a customer qualification of a large-scale/enterprise implementation with multiple workstreams.
  • Salesforce Admin Certification

Attain Partners is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will be commensurate with experience, education, and skills, ranging from $180,000- $215,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
