Description and Requirements

Maryland Auto Insurance seeks candidates to fill part time, contractual roles in our Imaging Unit. Imaging Associates support the Claims and Underwriting Departments via the processing of all inbound mail.

Duties include reviewing, sorting, and preparing the incoming mail (to include applications, correspondence, medical reports and bills, legal documents, etc.), scanning documents, and indexing documents to their proper electronic file.

This position may also be responsible for the handling, recording, and delivery of incoming checks and returned drafts.

This position is limited to a maximum of 24 hours per week. We do not offer benefits for part-time, contractual positions.


High school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in clerical work. College education may substitute for the required experience at a rate of 30 credits for one year of experience.

Additional Information

This position does not supervise other employees. This is a part-time, non-benefited position with the core work hours being 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flextime may be available with prior supervisory approval. Additional work time, also with prior supervisory approval, may be necessary during evenings, weekends, and holidays, and will be compensated as Cash Overtime.
