Summary of Position:

The Mass Market Account Manager is responsible for directing and executing the Asmodee joint business plans and for developing best in class retail partnerships.They will oversee all aspects of the business including distribution, item prioritization, promotional plans, forecasting and profitability analysis.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Lead growth initiatives with Asmodees portfolio through new placements and distribution
  • Ability to develop and operate with a clear retail channel strategy
  • Deliver on high service levels and operate with clear communication
  • Ownership of all customer presentations and line reviews
  • Participate in annual customer stragic planning, customer business reviews
  • Monitor retailer KPIs to highlight success we have achieved or challenges that we face
  • Continually asses industry trends and customer goals to determine optimal JBP
  • Present new product concepts to address white space opportunities in the marketplace
  • Partner with Marketing to create programs to increase brand awareness and rate of sales
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure SLAs are met in the most efficient way possible
  • Responsible for forecasting, reporting and contracts for ongoing operations
  • Actively participate with cross-functional teams through collaboration, communication and best-practice sharing
  • Prospect for new opportunities in assigned territories
  • All other duties as assigned by management
Education/Experience
  • B.A., Business, Marketing, other related field or equivalent work experience
  • +5 years of account management experience in the Mass Market or Toy/Game industry
  • Possess in-depth understanding of the CPG industry
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with customers
  • Track record of delivering to sales budget and P&L metrics
  • Success in forecasting large porfolios with multiple customers
  • Experience in both large and small scale presentations
  • Entrepreneurial can-do mindset and high level of attention to detail
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time; sometimes with very little notice
