We are a compassionate primary and post-acute care organization serving seniors in assisted living, life plan communities, independent living, skilled nursing, and long-term care facilities across the United States.
Responsibilities include:
- Round and manage clinical care for geriatric patients in partner facilities, including skilled nursing, long term care, assisted living, independent living and memory care facilities.
- Travel to facilities to provide medical coverage 4 days/week.
- Serve as interim Medical Director in partner facilities.
- Build relationships with the facility staff, administrator and nursing director.
- Engage with the multi-disciplinary care team to address quality of care and patient care needs.
- Complete timely documentation and billing for services provided per Curana policy.
- Respond to daytime calls from the facility when not physically present.
- Assist with the transition to the permanent Curana provider(s).
- Serve as a model and representative of Curana Health at all times.

Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree from accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
- Unrestricted licensure in North Carolina with ability to obtain additional licenses within first 90days
- Unrestricted licensure in Arizona, with ability to obtain additional licenses within first 90days
- Easy access to a major airport for frequent travel
