Livestream Producer

The Government Information Center is seeking a Livestream Producer to help lead Delaware’s live video efforts. The livestream producer will assist in streaming live events (either in-person or remotely) with multiple camera angles and multiple incoming video streams from different locations on an array of professional and consumer-grade video devices to Facebook Live, and similar streaming platforms.
Strong troubleshooting skills and an attention to detail are a must. This position will work in a team-based environment, and also work alongside agency clients. You will report to the Director of Multimedia in the Government Information Center.
Successful candidates should be just as comfortable operating a live switcher as being behind a video camera. Livestream events can vary from large productions with multiple cameras and personnel to mobile setups in the field with one camera and a bonded cellular connection. This candidate will be able to manage logistics on events including location scouting, working with agency partners to determine network/signal strength and audio/lighting setup as needed. Must also be able to work some evenings and weekends as projects dictate and meet daily deadlines.
