Description

Do you have a passion to work with grieving families? Do you have clinical experience such as LPN or EMT/Paramedic experience? Are you looking for a challenge in your career? LifeShare is hiring only those that are passionate about organ, eye, and tissue donation to serve families and hospital staff throughout the donation process. All communication with families and hospital staff will be over the phone. In this role you will:

  • Communicate with hospital staff to evaluate donor eligibility
  • Communicate the process of donation with families
  • Request authorization for donation from legal next of kin
  • Complete a medical/social history interview with the family

What we are looking for:

  • Have some clinical knowledge (LPN or EMT/Paramedic strongly preferred)
  • Be able to talk with families that are grieving
  • Have an Associate's degree in a biological science, or 2 years related experience in the medical field
