Holland Hall seeks an experienced, full-time Stationary Engineer. This position is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks, facility safety inspections, and regular clean up and maintenance tasks as assigned in conjunction with the overall purpose of Holland Hall.
JOB DUTIES
Under the direction of the Facilities Director, the employee in this position will perform routine maintenance functions to include but not limited to:

Operate boilers, chillers and associated machinery.

Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on all HVAC, kitchen and mechanical equipment.

Repair, replace and service: vfd’s, motors, bearings and belt alignment on related equipment.

Re-lamp light fixtures and replace ballasts.

Cleaning and maintaining boilers, chillers, and air handler rooms.

Energy management scheduling on building automation systems.

Performing regular facility inspections of such items as fire sprinkler systems, pressured systems, and isolation valves.

Inspecting building areas for compliance with local building and fire regulations.

Inspection and repairs of exterior lighting and plumbing fixtures.

Inspection and maintenance of emergency generator systems and lighting.

Driving a class B or C bus as needed for school functions.

Ability to safely operate a lift and other equipment.

Assist in moving furniture and equipment as needed.

Other duties as required to fulfill the overall purpose of Holland Hall.
