We are looking for an outstanding individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to join our Communication Services team as a Donation Coordinator. The preferred candidate would have a strong medical background with the ability to effectively communicate.


This position spends most of their time receiving potential referrals and offering tissue donation to donor families. The remaining time is spent completing proper documentation and coordinating the recovery process.


This position is currently hiring for night shift only and requires a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts which includes a pay differential.


Job Responsibilities

  • Field all potential referrals for organ, tissue, and eye donation.
  • Gather and accurately assess patient medical records and medical social history to determine suitability.
  • Offers opportunities for tissue and eye donation or notifies the family of the donors registry status.
  • Guides families through the tissue donation process.
  • Accurately complete the donor electronic record.


  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with a variety of people.
  • Effectively communicate with coroners, funeral homes, families, hospitals, and other internal departments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous healthcare field experience as EMT, Paramedic, LPN, or RN.
  • Call Center background preferred





  • Associate degree focused in health sciences or nursing is preferred or equivalent training and experience required.
