Essential Functions

This is a temporary day shift position, working 5 days per week (including weekends)

 8+hour shifts

Day Shift  6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Afternoon Shift 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

This position was created in order to help address the growing need for local food banks across the region. In accordance with the USDA in response to the Corona-virus Pandemic, our Company has the ability to make fresh produce, dairy and deli item boxes for the sole purpose of providing fresh food for those in need.

Essential Functions:

  • Unloading and loading trucks using stand up forklift and/or pallet jack
  • Receiving and pallet jack work, moving pallets from finished goods to loading areas
  • Product replenishment
  • Work in a constant cold environment with 38 degrees room temperatures to keep our products fresh
  • Ability to meet productivity requirements while operating in a safe and efficient manner
  • Lifting is a requirement i.e. cases of product are loaded and off-loaded from designated pallets into the assembly area
  • Determining quality of products assigned and handling with extreme care
  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends
Knowledge, skill and abilities required
  • Stand up forklift and pallet jack operation experience
  • Good oral and written communication skills (ability to read and write in English, as is affected by direction and paperwork).
  • Good attention to detail, as well as an ability to differentiate different quality levels of various products.
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs
  • Able to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Must be able to work in a consistently cold environment (38 degrees)
  • Must work Safely and professionally.

Continuously working in a refrigerated warehouse – 38 degrees
