Job Summary:
The HR Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing HR processes and systems. They will be responsible for collecting, compiling, and analyzing HR data to drive strategic decisions and improve overall HR and organization effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis, Management, and Reporting
- Collects, analyzes, and reports HR-related data, including compensation, benefits, turnover, and other key HR metrics.
- Generates and maintains regular and ad-hoc HR reports to support business decisions.
- Analyzes data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepares presentations and reports for senior management.
HR Systems and Technology
- Supports the optimization and maintenance of HR systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Works closely with IT and HR teams to implement system improvements and upgrades.
- Assists in the development and configuration of HRIS systems to streamline HR processes.
Compensation and Benefits Analysis
- Analyzes compensation and benefits data to benchmark against industry standards and support competitive offerings.
- Provides insights and recommendations on salary structures, bonuses, and benefit packages.
Compliance & Regulatory Management
- Ensures that HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assists in preparing for internal and external HR audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with legal standards.
- Conducts regular audits of HR practices and systems to identify and mitigate any potential risks related to compliance issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR analyst, specialist or generalist role with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of HRIS or other related HR systems.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to ensure data-driven human resources solutions.
- HR Certification such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certification in Compensation (CCP) or Benefits (CEBS) is preferred but not required.
Working Environment
This is Hybrid working environment including in-office and remote. Remote work is up to 2 days per week.
