Bartender

POSITION SUMMARY

Our bartenders are responsible for expertly preparing Bomba’s scratch-made cocktails and draft beers for guests at the bar and throughout the restaurant. Your vast knowledge of the beverage and food offerings, and engaging hospitality, makes you the perfect ambassador to provide a guest experience that surpasses expectations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Taking beverage orders from guests and service bar.
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Bomba Tacos + Bar’s drink recipes.
• Presenting the appropriate menus, making recommendations, and answering questions regarding our food & beverages.
• Washing and sterilizing glassware.
• Preparing all garnishes for drinks.
• Maintaining all bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
• Assisting in the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• Maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 years of age
• Have working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes
• Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, managers, and dining room personnel
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
