Location:  Lewiston Facility 
Days/Hours: 1st Shift; Mondays-Thursdays 5:00am-3:00pm or Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm. Flexibility to work nights and/or weekends is required to support position and business needs.
Position Status: Full-Time

The Team: 
Our Material Handling/Inventory Team plays a key role in ensuring the quality and timeliness of product provided to our customers.  It is our responsibility to organize and store components and manufactured parts, ensure correct parts are picked for production jobs, sustain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory process management and improvement while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.

The Role: 
The Inventory Coordinator will oversee the Inventory Team and provide guidance and support for team members.  This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by ensuring adherence to procedures and implementing process improvements through lean initiatives. You will communicate with multiple departments, resolve issues utilizing root cause analysis, research variances, and reconcile inventory. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities: 

  • Overseeing and coordinating of material handling and inventory activities 
  • Completing inventory department supervision and training 
  • Organizing and planning for warehouse improvements 
  • Creating and managing processes and procedures to maintain accurate inventory
  • Working with cycle count program administration and reconciliation
  • Learning and Implementing Material Management systems within ERP/MRP software
  • Communicating effectively and timely with other departments
  • Training and developing team members on relevant inventory processes and skills
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications include but not limited to: 

  • A relevant 2- or 4-year college degree preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years manufacturing or inventory experience 
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP inventory management and inventory control processes
  • Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office software knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Travel:

  • This position may travel between the RiverSide Lewiston, Rushford and Winona facilities.
  • Infrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs may be required. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling 
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit 
  • Lifting up to 
    • 50 pounds for inventory 
    • 100 pounds with assistance for production and inventory 

Work Environment: 

  • Manufacturing production and inventory floor
