  • Ensure all Repair Station personnel comply with current Federal Aviation Regulations, Repair Station and Quality Control Manual, and Policies and Procedures
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and positive customer service attitude without compromising quality
  • Ensure maintenance and inspection personnel use approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA
  • Ensure adequate inspection aids, special tools and equipment are available, and maintained in a serviceable condition
  • Assist the Chief Inspector with oversight of facility technician training requirements
  • Assist the Chief Inspector with maintaining facility personnel roster and authorizations
  • Assist the Chief Inspector with oversight of the facility tool control and tool calibration program
  • Ensure final inspections are properly performed on all work completed before it is released for Return to Service
  • Conduct internal and external facility audits as required
  • Oversee and maintain procedures to ensure completion of required inspections when tasks are worked over multiple shifts and personnel
  • Ensure incoming parts, supplies, and articles receive an incoming inspection (Receiving Inspection) to determine airworthiness prior to installation and required documentation is present.
  • Ensure no defective, non-conformed or un-airworthy parts are installed in any component or assembly released to service
  • Ensure compliance with procedures for preliminary inspections, hidden damage inspections, inspection continuity and final inspection for items processed by the facility


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an aircraft component overhaul environment.
  • Previous QA Inspection experience preferred
  • A&P License is preferred but not mandatory 
  • Understanding of FAA Repair Station and manufacturing record requirements
  • Good oral and written communication skillsAbility to work across organizational boundaries
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and special processes
  • Knowledge of FAR (21 & 145)
  • Advanced understanding of the landing gear overhaul process.
  • Understanding and ability to read and follow component repair and overhaul instructions
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Basic computer skills in a Microsoft Office and Windows environment
