Full and Part Time Opportunities:

$500 sign on bonus for Full Time

$250 sign on bonus for Part time 

$18.00  - $23.05 DOE

Open Shifts:

  • Overnight Shift: 9:45p-6a
  • Day Shift: 5:45a-2p
  • Swing: 1:45p-10p

PAY:

  • Minimum of $18 and is dependent on relative experience
  • Possible $1.50 increase dependent on the results of a 90-day evaluation.

 

Comprehensive Life Resources is seeking a passionate team player to join our Pearl Youth Residence as a full time Behavioral Health TechWe provide training in techniques for working with youth that are struggling with complex behavioral health challenges.

Pearl Youth Residence provides an environment that offers opportunities to provide live coaching and skill building in response to challenging behaviors presented in the moment. The goal is to build skills that are lagging as evidenced by challenging behaviors observed on the milieu through the manifestation of social conflicts as evidenced by verbal/physical altercations, property destruction, self-harm, mood disorders, etc.

FUNCTION:  

Work closely with the Pearl Youth Residence and multidisciplinary teams to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for residents. Promote the highest level of care with an emphasis on support, debriefing, training, crisis response, and effective treatment interventions for residents. Serves as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the care, safety, and supervision of residents on the therapeutic milieu through positive interactions and direct pro-active supervision.
  • Utilize individualized care appropriate to the specific needs and strengths of residents. Utilize appropriate limit setting and resolution focused de-escalation techniques.
  • Instruct, assist, and provide skill development and overall supervision to residents to include different job functions such as shift lead, recreation specialist, driver, school aid, meal service, and other components to daily routine.
  • Monitor, implement and support the milieu/program and school schedule.
  • Guide and assist with meeting program and behavioral expectations and advancement through the level system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or GED. 
    • Degree in Behavioral Science or equivalent experience preferred. 
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license; proof of insurance.
  • Food handlers' certification 
  • Required annual flu vaccination
