Donor Relations Manager

  • Provide oversight, direction, coaching, and supervision to direct reports to ensure clarity in expectations and successful performance
  • Provide timely feedback and support
  • Develop and lead team practices
  • Achieve annual fundraising goals with assigned teams by monitoring advisor-donor participation rates and trends
  • Interact with other departments on donor issues and related transactions
  • Maintain current understanding of department, company goals and initiatives, focus areas, successes and overall results to effectively communicate to team members and donors
  • Lead and attend internal and external meetings and events as required
  • Be able and willing to pray with donors


Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum associate degree or equivalent
  • At least five years of management experience
  • Previous experience working in a call-center environment is preferable
  • Experience in planning, organizing and directing a group of employees who work on the telephone
  • Experience in increasing the productivity and efficiency of a group of employees
  • Experience in identifying employees’ shortfalls and the ability to work with employees to develop a plan for improvement
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and strong Excel skills
  • Experience with DonorDirect or similar system is preferable
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Experience with basic multiline phone system operations and Synthesis or similar predictive dialer is helpful
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Previous fundraising experience is preferable
